Liberalism in German nineteenth-century thought- or Aristotle, Hegel, Menger

Conference given in English and in Japanese. January 21, 2015, 16:00-18:30.

Following fruitful contacts made in 2014, cooperation between institutions allow to discuss more in-depth the influence of Western thought in adapting/adopting (or not) liberal ideas from Europe.

Going back to the Antiquity sources and down to nowadays through three major thinkers whose thought was imported into Japan.
